Voice Communication system provides bank's customers with the ability to enquiry their accounts using normal touch-tone phone and hear a voice response; banks also may use it to broadcast financial and marketing messages.

 
Hardware requirement is just one Personal Computer; Windows 95 and telephone line.
 
During working hours the system retrieves accounts information from host computer in real time mode; otherwise from local personal computer after downloading information from host computer.
 

Host communication protocols supported are:

  • TCP/IP
  • ISO/Asynch
  • SNA
  • IBM 3270/5250

Account balance inquiry is built-in service; the following are the optional services:

  • Further account details
  • Check book request
  • Last 10 transactions
  • Inquiry about a specific check
Moreover any required service can be easily tailored or adapted during installation.
 
Unique and encrypted customer's PIN number generated by the bank and changeable by customer secures the system against unauthorized access.
 
System Administration

provides the bank with the tools required to control the security aspects such as:

  • Identifying those customers who will enjoy the system services and their accounts numbers.
  • Which services are available for them
  • Generating their initial PIN numbers

Monitoring facility showing line activities; incoming calls and Host communication status.

 

Quires and reports contain a lot of information to serve various purposes such as auditing reports; lines statistics and service reports.
