On January 2004 BSIC-Bank Sahilo-Saharienne pour
l'Investissement et le Commerce, West Africa French Speaking Branches
went live with SmartBank Core Banking system from Banking and Finance Information technology Cairo-Egypt. |

branches went live with SmartBank on January 2004, SmartBank has given
the bank the facility to completely automate the generation of the west
Africa central bank reports, which is based on the french accounting
system. |

Mr. Abdull Khaliq Shandidy, General manager B&F Soft, said "we were able
to help the bank to open five branches in west africa in two months,
this is was due to the easy installation procedure of SmartBank, BSIC
chairman Mr. Al Hady Al Worrfally was very happy for being able to open
these five branches in that short time"

SmartBank is a multilingual core banking system, all these five branches
staff can switch between English and French interfaces including the
screens and the reports. |
